I warmly welcome you to our new organization that has been established as a novel initiative in partnership with Thalassemia International Federation.

The Sultan Bin Khalifa International Thalassemia Award is a non-profit (non-governmental) organization dedicated to value and support National, International, and Institutional & Individuals that have made substantive efforts contribution towards improving quality of life of Thalassemia Patients.

This is a dream project of our Chief Patron, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, the Advisor for the President of the United Arab Emirates.

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan is deeply committed for the welfare of Thalassemia community since a long time, having initiated many magnanimous projects for the benefit of Thalassemia Patients and their families. This Award is a new wing of the recently launched Sheikh Sultan Humanitarian and Scientific Research Foundation, that enforce the conviction in scientific research and its influence in empowering nations and people across the globe.

The effort of the Award goes just to say what little we all can do to appreciate individuals and Institutions across the globe, which have done enormous selfless efforts to improve the quality of life of Thalassemia patients.
